Couples
Therapy
Many couples could benefit from having couples therapy to process or resolve common issues in their relationships. Some of the reasons people seek couples therapy include a major breach of trust, frequent arguments, poor communication, sexual difficulties, substance abuse, anger, infidelity, changes in dynamics, stronger relationship, and dysfunctional and unsatisfying pattern. Some couples may seek couples counseling before they get married to achieve a deeper understanding of each other and some seek couples counseling after they get married to improve a troubled relationship.

Through couples therapy, couples can learn about open communication, problem-solving, and how to discuss differences rationally. Marriage counseling or couples therapy could be either short-term or long-term, depending on couples' situation. Both partners or one partner could attend the sessions depending on the issues they are having. The therapist may assign homework to couples to practice the skills they learned in the sessions.

It is hard to admit that you need help but couples therapy could give an insightful and empowering experience.
